I have always been interested in hair design and the fashion industry!
After graduating from Marinello Beauty School (don't bother looking it up, because they are long closed now, LOL), I worked as a Master Colorist in one of Cincinnati's most prestigious salons. Modeling both fashions and hair designs led me to work with the leading beauty companies, learning how to train individuals to use professional hair, skin and nail products. As an educator, I was able to set the bar for success by working on the stage platform creating the trendy styles and rubbing elbows with some of "The Greatest Salon Owners" of the time. This gave me the valuable knowledge I needed to open my first salon; Hairline I was opened on May 1st, 1982. Many have asked over the years if there ever was or will be a Hairline II. Well, many years ago I did own a second local salon for a short period of time, but I couldn't be in two places at one time so I sold the second salon to one of the stylist who kept the business going for many years until they retired.
As we begin to enter our 37th year of my 5 year plan I look back, smile and think to myself I must have done something right. My success I feel is due to my great love and commitment of the beauty industry and the intense training of my staff. Upon my retirement from behind the chair at the end of 2014, I left knowing I trained my staff to be strong and take over for the next 30+ years.
At Hairline I & Nailcrafters, we consider our clients as guests and each member of our staff a partner/family. We promise to provide you with the best hair, skin and nail care products and services in the industry. We want your salon experience to be wonderfully satisfying, making our salon your destination.
