Susan Frances Breslin (nee Stoddard) passed away on January 21, 2020 after battling Alzheimer’s disease and Leukemia. She was born in 1940 to Helen and Jack Stoddard of Mt. Healthy. After high school, she earned her cosmetology license. In 1982, she decided she didn’t really like working for others, so she opened Hairline I in Finneytown, OH. She treated this as an opportunity to help out her clients and mentor numerous stylists and staff. As she always thought she could do anything she set her mind to, she spent time as a substitute teacher (she was capable of welding) and a soccer coach (she never played a minute). An avid gardener, she and Dick spent huge amounts of time in their backyard caring for numerous varieties of plants, flowers, trees and shrubs. She loved experiencing new things, places and cultures. She and Dick traveled the world and spent time on all seven continents throughout her life. She is survived by her husband, Richard (Dick) Breslin, son, Patrick (Lisa Brinkman Breslin), and daughter, Heather Breslin Hogan (Kenneth Hogan). She dearly loved her five grandchildren: Mackenzie Hogan, Peyton Hogan, Kennedy Hogan, Carter Breslin and Trevor Breslin.
